What is your refund policy?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds because the benefits of our service are realized immediately. Once a property has been listed, we are not able to refund for any reason.

No. At the present time, RentLizard is not affiliated with any other rental property listings website.

RentLizard, LLC was co-founded by two individuals with an extensive background in the investment real estate arena - both members bring a combined 30+ years in the field. It was this experience in the management of significant portfolios of rental property that lead to the creation of RentLizard.com.

If you are a prospective tenant, no sign-up is required to search (free) rental listings on our site. However, if you would like to receive email notifications of new rental property listings matching specific criteria, or to apply online for specific rental properties, sign-up is required. It's a very easy process. If you are not yet registered, simply click the "Register" button on the Home Page or Tenants Page and follow the instructions.

If you are a landlord and have not yet registered, simply select the "Register" button on the Home Page or Landlords Page and follow the directions to complete that registration.

Once registered, simply enter you email address and your password to edit any specific account information. By selecting the "Remember me next time" option at sign-up, you will be able to bypass having to enter your email address and password each time you come to the site. Instead, you will automatically be logged-in.

You information is simply used to provide you the service we offer. Read our privacy policy to learn more about how we protect your personal information.

After you enter the required information for registration, an email will immediately be sent to the email address you provided in your registration. Open that email and click on the provided link, or copy and paste that link into your browser address bar, to activate your account.

If you do not receive a confirmation email from RentLizard.com within a few minutes of registering, try checking to make sure it didn't end up in your "bulk" or "spam" email folder. Also make sure you are checking the email account for the address you registered with here on RentLizard.com.

If you've forgotten your password, go here and enter the email address that you used when you signed up for your account. RentLizard.com will then send you an email containing a temporary password. If you do not receive an email from us, try adding the email address help@rentlizard.com to your address in the event your email program is interpreting email from RentLizard.com as spam.

Simply click on the "My Account" tab after logging in to the site, and then select the information that you wish to edit. Make sure and save any changed information.

Photographs and information must be specifically related to the property you are advertising for rent. Any rental listings that promote other services or businesses will be removed without refund. Images deemed inappropriate in nature will not be tolerated and will be immediately removed.

No. craigslist does not currently allow for the automation of rental postings to post ads for the benefit of others. You have to create a craigslist ad manually. We do create the HTML code and provide the capability for you to copy and paste the HTML code into the description box of your craigslist ad. (See instructions immediately below).

Once you've created your Rental Listing and prepared it for activation, you will see a link labeled "Post on craigslist". Clicking this link will send you directly to craigslist. On craigslist, you will need to enter some basic information in the subject area (including title, address, and rent amount), and then copy and paste your rental listing HTML we provide for you, into the craigslist posting description box.

Note: If you experience problems with the link, check to see if you have a pop-up blocker enabled. If so, turn it off (usually in your Google or Yahoo toolbar). If this doesn't work, you can still initiate a post by going directly to the craigslist site. Please see the craigslist instructions page for step-by-step instructions.

craigslist will send you an email to activate and manage your rental listing. You should save that email in the event you later wish to edit or delete that listing from the craigslist site.

Anytime you change your rental listing information on our site, the associated HTML information for that listing will also be updated. You can then simply edit or post new listings on craigslist using that HTML code.

Because your rental listing is being posted on another site that has their own specific restrictions, your ad appear a bit differently than it does here on RentLizard.com. Additionally you must read and abide by the craigslist terms of use . Please familiarize yourself with what is and what is not acceptable. We help create for you an attractive listing that will be accepted by craigslist and strive to abide by both the letter and spirit of the craigslist Terms Of Use. We hope our users will do the same.
